Do you know how to save a life? Can you survive in the wilderness? Do you know how to build a tower out of a few logs and some rope? Have you ever cooked over an open fire? 

The Scouts in Troop 670 can do all these things... and more!  They camp, hike and rockclimb in the great outdoors. Weekend camping trips. White water rafting. Hiking expeditions. Week long camping at Boy Scout Summer Camp. And a lot more!  Not only that, but in a Boy Scout Troop, the boys do all the planning  and run these adventures, with just a little guidance from the adult leaders.

Get outside - Boy Scouting takes place outdoors. It is here that the skills and activities we practice at troop meetings become real. Being close to nature helps you gain an appreciation for God's handiwork and our place in it. The outdoors are where Boy Scouts learn about ecology and practice conservation. 
  Learn and do things that most guys don't. Join Troop 670, and you can too.

Joining Troop 670 is easy. If you are age 11-17, or have completed the fifth grade, or have the Webelos Arrow of Light, you can join us.

Just stop in on any Monday Night and fill out a Boy Scout registration form, and we'll help you with rest of the details. You must have a parent or guardian with you at the time of registration.
